How kidney failure affect other body parts

Kidney is one of the main parts of our body. It cleans our blood by releasing waste in the form of urine. Kidney failure or any other damage in kidney affects the other body function.

Heart problems:

          In normal condition of kidney, heart working properly to pump the blood to all over the body. In abnormal condition of kidney it leads to heart attack, stokes, cardiovascular problem and problems in breathing. Kidney failure with sugar and high blood pressure increase the heart problems.

High blood pressure:

          In normal health condition when our blood pressure is low, kidney raises the hormone level to balance the blood pressure but in abnormal condition of kidney or kidney failure hormone levels goes out of control. It worsens the blood pressure level, blood pressure (BP) reach high. Again high blood pressure worsens the kidney condition.

Anemia:

          In normal health condition, when red blood cell (RBC) count is reduce then kidney stimulate erythropoietin to produce red blood cell in bone marrow. In kidney failure cannot stimulate erythropoietin so red blood cell count cannot increase it leads to anemia. In anemia condition problems in breathing, low energy, tiredness and heart beat increase can occurred.

Bone Damage:

          In healthy body, kidney help to save calcium and phosphorus .Our body get vitamin D both from sun and food. Vitamin D is essential for our health. Kidney converts vitamin D from non working form to working form. In abnormal condition of kidney calcium level in blood is low and phosphorus level is high. Kidney cannot balance the calcium and phosphorus .Vitamin D conversion is also not happened due to this reasons bone hormone parathyroid is affected it leads to bone damage.

Depression:

          Feeling is sad or irritable. Crying more than usual, show less interest on things, loss of appetite and feeling of shame.
